Six Senses Zil Pasyon Resort
Félicité Island, Seychelles
Félicité Island, or also known Zil Pasyon (meaning the “island of passion” in the local Creole language) is a stunning private 268 hectare island and the fifth largest in the Seychelles, which is a 115-island archipelago in the beautiful Indian Ocean waters. The island is home to indigenous and endemic flora and fauna, crystal clear waters with white sandy beaches and giant boulders, and sits adjacent to a marine sanctuary famous for its diving and snorkelling.
The original development started in 2007, but stalled after the Global Financial Crisis in late 2008, until we got involved in 2013. The project is finally completed in late 2016, and the super luxurious Six Senses Resort opened in October 2016.
This resort, which has 30 villas and a spectacular spa erected atop a majestic rock formation, has already gotten rave reviews from the UK’s Condé Nast Traveller and the Telegraph. The Luxury Travel Expert has featured Sixth Senses Zil Pasyon on its list of Top 10 best luxury resorts in the Seychelles and Africa’s most astonishing beach retreats.
